Koya Tofu is a traditional food in Japan. About 800 years ago, one winter morning, ascetics at Mt. Koya found Frozen tofu. They tried to cook and knew that frozen tofu is tasty. That's why this frozen tofu is called Koya Tofu.

It is good to keep tofu for long time and also good to burn body fat. Simple recipe is here. With colorful vegetables like carrot, gumbo or peas, it'll be a good looking dish. Heat the pan with Kombu and sliced carrot and water and boil for a few minutes. Then add the Koya Tofu and gumbo or peas and boil another few minutes. I heard that to make Koya Tofu at home is easy and it is very tasty. Later I will try and write here.
